ESA Specialty Instructor certification denotes a renewed ESA O/W Instructor, or higher ESA Instructor degree, authorized to promote and conduct, required license ratification related to special diving areas.
Attending ESA Specialty Instructor Programs conducted by ESA Specialty IC Directors, an ESA Specialty Instructor get all the required academic and practical knowledge to train recreational divers in specific diving areas.
Prerequisites to enroll an ESA Specialty Instructor course:
Hold a current Medical Certificate and be an Active ESA Open Water Instructor or higher ESA Instructor level. OR: Be officially enrolled in the ESA Instructor Course or ESA Qualifying Program (the ESA Specialty Instructor Card will be issued after the positive participation to an ESA IE)
ESA Diveleader and the ESA Assistant Instructors in Active Status, can enroll in ESA Ecodiver Specialty Instructor Course
ESA Instructor that already has a Specialty Instructor License, delivered by another training agency, may directly require the equivalent ESA Specialty Instructor Card by filling out, signing and send to the appropriate ESA Office the “ESA First Aid Instructor Entry Form”.
